Surge Construction Services is built on experience, relationships, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way. Owner-operator Andrew Meservey brings over 8 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, remodeling, and project management — and he's on every project, from the first estimate to the final sign-off.
Andrew grew up in a military family, moving across the country while his father, David, served 15 years in the U.S. Army. That upbringing — along with the influence of his mother Kimberly and sister Kaitlyn, and a grandfather who was a contractor — shaped the discipline, work ethic, and craftsmanship he brings to every build.
He started in the trade at 17 with a contractor in Aberdeen, South Dakota, building homes from the ground up. In 2021 he relocated to Salt Lake City and worked as a foreman for a luxury home-renovation company based in Park City, leading crews on high-end projects before founding Surge.
He started Surge with smaller handyman projects while earning his general contractor license, building a reputation for problem-solving and attention to detail. Now a licensed GC, Andrew has grown Surge organically through referrals from homeowners, designers, real estate professionals, and subcontractors — delivering projects clients can trust, from idea to reality.
